The 21 Pirates is an artistic collective formed and funded by Benjamin Pinnock and Liam Blunden.

 The purpose of the 21 is to give newly discovered and undiscovered creative talent a platform to showcase their work.

 Each year the brief changes based on popular culture. This year brings together two of the most discussed topics – Film and Game.

 The artists are to create a piece of work that forms a ‘crossover’ between their chosen film and game.

 Excluding the five core members the line-up changes each year. There is no criteria to be a member of this crew – they are chosen on skill and personality alone.

 Last year our show hit capacity within two hours, This year we hope to beat that record.

 The exhibition will be held at MAC Birmingham on Friday 19th February.
